🌟 Exciting day at South Pike! 🌟 We had the privilege of welcoming Staff Sgt. Allan Magee, an inspiring alum from Alcorn State, who shared invaluable wisdom with our Career and Tech seniors. He emphasized the importance of mindset, reminding our students, "Never tell yourself what you can't do; always tell yourself what you can do." With 24 years of dedicated military service under his belt, Staff Sgt. Magee is committed to serving as long as he can.
The students were engaged and eager to learn about opportunities with the United States Army and Marines. Seeing several students already pledging their futures to the Navy and Marines was heartwarming! Staff Sgt. Magee also spoke with our JROTC program about leadership alongside our JROTC director, Sgt. Huff.
