🎉 South Pike School District Weekly Athletic Update! 🎉
A huge shoutout to Coach Candance Felder-Hall and our amazing girls' basketball team for an incredible season! 🏀 They clinched the regular season district title, won the district tournament, and advanced to the second round of the state tournament! Your hard work and dedication have truly paid off, and we can't wait to see how your program continues to grow. 🙌
📅 Looking ahead, our boys' basketball team is set to face Noxubee County this Monday night at 6 PM. We’re in need of one ticket verifier for the game. If the boys win, they’ll be heading to the state quarterfinals—stay tuned for the details!
🌟 Baseball season kicks off this Tuesday with a home game against Forrest Hill HS. JV starts at 5 PM, followed by varsity. Don’t miss it! Plus, our softball team will host McComb for two games this Thursday, starting at 5 PM, depending on the outcome of the boys' game.
⚠️ Remember, Thursday’s baseball and softball games are contingent on the basketball results—if we win, those games will be postponed to accommodate the quarterfinal basketball game.
🏃♂️ Our track team will be competing in the Charlie Floyd Relays this Saturday at Southwest Mississippi Community College, starting at 11 AM. Let’s cheer them on!
