Football
Welcome back from the weekend!
Congratulations to our South Pike Eagles football team on another dominant victory. The Eagles opened district play with a 42–7 win over Lawrence County. Great job to our players and coaches for their continued success and preparation each week.
We’d also like to recognize several players for earning All-Star selections:

Senior DE, Micah Nickerson – Selected by the Mississippi Association of Coaches to participate in the Bernard Blackwell North-South All-Star Game in December.

Senior DE, Adrian Dawson – Selected to the Magnolia Sports Association Senior Showcase.

Sophomores Douglass Wansley, Antwuan Adams, and Ladarius Martin – Selected to the Magnolia Sports Association Sophomore Showcase.

JH/JV Football: Travels to Brookhaven to face Alexander Jr. High on Monday at 5:00 PM.

Varsity Football: Travels to Poplarville to face the Hornets in a key Region 7-4A matchup.

Basketball
Basketball season is officially underway! Practices begin this week for our boys’ and girls’ basketball programs. Coaches, please ensure all players are cleared and eligible before participation begins.
This is an exciting time as we transition into winter sports. Let’s make sure our student-athletes are prepared, disciplined, and focused as they begin their journey toward another successful season. Best of luck to all our basketball coaches and teams as they start their 2025–2026 campaigns.
Cross Country
Our Cross Country team will compete in two meets this week:
