Chromebooks for Students

Chromebook information

1. The Chrome Books for all students that are enrolled in the district.

2. The High School will collect the tablets that were issued to the Juniors and Seniors when they return back to school.

3. No deposit is required.

Being a teacher is the most enjoyable and rewarding profession.  To encounter a teacher that truly enjoys teaching and makes a difference in the lives of students that he or she teaches is the best representation of a great teacher.  Ms. Velveeta Adams exemplifies these characteristics and so much more.

Ms. Adams has a passion for teaching and that shines thoroughly each and every day.  Upon entering class, the students desire to read is very limited.  She makes her lessons very engaging, and she makes it come alive in the minds of her students.  It makes them eager to learn all that she has to offer.

“With great power, comes great responsibility" is a saying that all teachers understand.  When our students leave home for school, we do not know the struggles they face to get here; however, we do understand that we can make a difference in their lives that day. Ms. Adams understands that better than most.  She always expresses her love for the children with compliments and encouraging words, or just a simple good morning.  Her love for the students is immeasurable.

Professionalism is an essential component of our lives.  Ms. Adams exhibits professionalism at all times.  She is hard-working and dedicated to the students, parents, and staff.  Any task that she's assigned is completed with class and dignity. The characteristics reflects the true tradition of South Pike High School.

South Pike High School would like to especially thank the Class of 1990 ($550) the Class of 1995 ($200), the Class of 1982 ($200), the Class of 2004 ($210), the Class of 1988 ($200) , Brown Chapel ($300), and Chadwick Taylor (Class 03) for their efforts & contribution towards our ACT testing goal for all freshmen at South Pike High. Today they contributed $1685.00 moving us forward to 118.8 % of target goal. Thank you alumni and hometown heroes. 👏👏

Smashing our goal by 18.8%. This overage will be allocated for next years incoming freshman ACT testing. South Pike High is very thankful for its alumni and community's support. 👏👏

South Pike High School Salutes all Term-1 Scholars

🦅🦅South Pike Alumni of the Week🦅🦅
Janice Felder began playing varsity level basketball while only in the 7th grade, and was a starter. Where she would go on to become a 3-time state champion. Earning Runner-up in The Best of the US Tournament in Tennessee. Beating Lisa Leslie’s team that was ranked #1 in the nation, while South Pike was ranked #3 in the nation.
